The Convent of Chièvres is located in the Groot Begijnhof of Leuven, at Leuven’s roundabout between “Tervuursepoort” and “Naamsepoort”.  They can be easily reached via E40 (coming from Liège or Brussels) and E314 (coming from Aken-Genk).

Take exit Nr. 15 direction Leuven.  On the “Koning Boudewijn laan”, at the first three traffic lights you go straight, at the fourth traffic lights (roundabout) turn right.  At the Naamsepoort (traffic lights) you go straight until the next traffic lights of the Parkpoort where you make a U-turn, as indicated by the arrows on map 1.   Again you pass Naamsepoort, after 100m the beguinage is on your right-hand side, after Tavern “De Waaiberg”.  From the parking you can walk to the Faculty Club and / or Convent of Chièvres, as indicated by the arrows on the map below.
